Not received what I have paid for.
Ordered something a week ago to give as a birthday present.
Paid for delivery….said item would be delivered 1-3 days….5 working days later not received item, no tracking number.
Have emailed yesterday and no reply back.
Im really unhappy and wished I hadn’t wasted my money and time with this company.

Please never book anyone a red letter day. I was brought one for a hotel inc weekends. waited until I had someone to baby sit checked on line they had availability but i needed to call to use my voucher. yes they have availability but not for red letter days. same for racing experiesces etc so time consuming complete waste opf time please dont book

I had an issue with my purchase that is for a 60th birthday celebration and even though I submitted an email then a complaint I have not heard a word or received any feedback!
I am so disappointed and upset at the lack of communication or help.

Frustrating to deal with
Frustrating to deal with. We were given a gift voucher for £150 and decided to purchase a 2 night break at £129. However, on trying to book a 2 night break we could find nothing available so exchanged the voucher for a beer subscription costing £81. Turns out we have to make the effort to cancel the subscription after 3 months or we will be charged. None of this is mentioned on RLD paperwork. I have sent 2 emails and on line chat requesting the outstanding credit to be sent but without success. My advice - avoid and give your loved ones cash instead.

Bought the red letter day event easily online, booking the actual event day is a completely different thing, it’s night mare of un clear information and a mine field, I actually gave up in the end,

Poor customer service
Last Monday I had a query re using my voucher. There is no telephone support, so I had to use online chat.
I was kept on chat for an hour because the agent, Ria, was also dealing with other queries. Surely it would be quicker to spend 10 minutes answering one query, than an hour answering several (or failing to answer).
In the end Ria was unable to answer the query, so said she would email me the following day with an answer. Needless to say, she did not email me, so I sent an email to the company asking for a response. I then received an email from Ria asking if I still needed help, which I found odd, as I had received no help at all. I responded sending the chat transcript. One week later, still no response.
If you have time to waste, use this company.

Useless company, even worse customer service
Useless company, unhelpful customer service. Paid for an experience for two, then the experience we had chosen was taken off the website. Nothing similar that doesn’t require paying a lot more and travelling to the other end of the country, which isn’t feasible. Red letter days customer service couldn’t be bothered to read my email and copy and pasted their online ‘help’ pages which were equally unhelpful. Don’t waste your money.

A special gift for my son's 30th birthday …
I ordered a Red letter Day for my son's 30th birthday, it was an easy process, the selection was great and it was fun to think about what he would like and to make my selection. I chose to receive a presentation case and it arrived in the post a couple of days later. It's a lovely presentation case and contents, well worth choosing. I'm so looking forward to giving it to him, he'll not be expecting anything like it and it will bring him happiness.

Experience didn't exist
I bought a steam experience for a 75th birthday gift. When trying to book the experience just a week later we're told it's no longer available. What type of company promotes an experience which you can't take. People beware.

Excellent present
Ordered a gift voucher for a colleague who is particularly difficult to buy for! With 6500 choices this is one present I am sure will please. The ordering was easy. The communication was excellent. Delivery took 3 days and was able to be posted through the door. The voucher came in a box with a booklet highlighting some of the experiences and how to go about choosing and redeeming.
